MONEYLOCK

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

Our privacy approach

Moneylock is designed to keep your financial planning data on your device. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not require an account.

Information stored on your device

Moneylock stores the information you enter or create in the app on your device. This may include transactions, merchant names, categories, budgets, income, subscriptions, savings goals, settings, and Vector conversation history.

Vector runs on your device and works offline. Vector conversations, model files, and financial records are not sent to Moneylock for processing.

Optional private-server sync

Sync is optional and disabled by default. If you enter a server URL and an API key in Settings, Moneylock sends your transactions, plans, categories, subscriptions, savings-goal information, and related settings to that server so that it can provide the sync you request. Your API key is stored in the device Keychain.

The operator of the server you choose is responsible for that server’s data practices. Vector chats and model data stay on your device.

Permissions

Retention and deletion

You control your on-device records. You can edit or delete records in Moneylock, or remove the app to erase its local data. If you use optional sync, delete synced data through the server you configured.
